Future changes to the forgiveness form

This calculator is based on the June 16th, 2020 revision of the Paycheck Protection Program Loan Forgiveness Application and the corresponding instructions. These were changed from the original form due to the passage of the Paycheck Protection Program Flexibility Act (PPPFA).

Calculations are performed with up to 255 digits of precision. When we enter figures into the form,

  • monetary figures are rounded to the nearest cent
  • FTE figures are rounded to the nearest tenth of one FTE
  • fractions are rounded to six decimal places

When a calculation references data from the form, e.g. "divide line 12 by line 11", the rounded figures are used, to ensure that anyone reading the form can get identical results.
